Here is the video of Marty doing his talent. In my opinion, he did AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He didn't even mess up when his wig fell off. Hahahah. Well Congrats Marty. I'm so proud!

 

Mauldin dominates Spirit Week!... after 8 years. Chickacabras and Spectacular...

Hey it's Marty and I am proud to say that MHS has finally won Spirit Week! The Friday the 13th curse struck down Hillcrest off their high horse and Mauldin rode triumphantly down the street. We raised an amazing $163,000 (Most thanks to me. I bought alot of food and got people to come to Miss Hillcrest.) Speaking of Miss Hillcrest... I won! I guess that's something to be proud of? I have to thank my whole team though, they did an amazing job helping (See Eddie's last post). Speaking of Eddie... he's a chickacabra. That movie Spectacular came on tonight... wow this looks great. Not. It looks like another High School Musical knock-off like The American Mall which actually wasn't that bad I guess... besides the corniness and acting but the songs were catchy. I Tivoed it so i'll probably watch it on a snow day or on one of my "Clear Recorded TV" day... *sigh*. Ahhh life... Eddie's busy scheaming so I'll go help him not end up dead :). I try to remind myself that someday we'll look back on this, laugh nervously, and awkwardly change the subject.

Miss. Hillcrest is in the House!!!!!!!

So Miss. Hillcrest came and Martina Margarita dominated! Winning every category like Best Dressed, Miss Money Maker, People's Choice, and Best Attitude. He recieved 3 trophies and 2 crowns and the best prize of all was the title Miss. Hillcrest!!!!!!!! We worked so hard. I was backstage with my headset which my father moked constantly. Hahaha. We had a whole crew backstage. Thanks to Rachel Boone, Riley Something, and Dahlia Sweeny. You guys did great backstage!!!!!!!! Well Marty had 4 different outfits... Opening Outfit, Casual Outfit, Talent Outfit, and Formal Wear! He rocked all 4 thanks to Me, Gina and Amber. His talent was the Single Ladies Dance from the Beyonce video. He did the exact dance with 2 backup dancers!!!!!!!!!!! It was incredible! Well all the sweat, tears, and stress was worth it. We achieved what we set out to do. I am an incredible manager!!!... and Marty isn't that bad either. Hahahahah. JK! Well thats all for now. TTYL this week.

 

Nerd Day, Dodgeball, and $2,000 for nothing!!!

Hey guys it's Eddie. So today was nerd day for spirit week and me and Marty decided to dress like nerds. Hahahaha! It was pretty amazing and Amber's glasses definately made the nerdy top #10! Then as I was showing Marty his Miss. Hillcrest posters, I had the most incredible and amazing idea! I decided to get his poster on the slide show that is continuously displayed throughout the school!!!!! It came out incredible and lots of people saw it! Well the morning was pretty akward for me because of my attire but as more and more nerds roamed the hallways, the akward feeling passed. Then, in 2nd period, we got to go watch student vs. faculty dodgeball! It was INTENSE !!! All was fun and games 'till Mrs. Hopkins got hit in the face with a dodgeball. LOL! No offense but it was hillarious. Well she got all pissed and didn't want to play anymore. What a sore loser! Just kidding Mrs. Hopkins... you were a good sport for participating at all. So the day goes on as usual. Then in 6th period, an announcement is made that if the school can make 2,000 dollars, then we will have a buyout which means we pay to get out of work for a single period each day until the end of the week. They also said that we would get the opportunity to wear hats and listen to iPods all day tomorrow. Well we make the $2,000 and more! Now here's the best part.... Then they come on and say we have to pay more money tomorrow to purchase the buyout and the $2,000 was just to allow the opportunity! Plus we have to pay each day to wear hats and they still didn't allow iPods. Now that is a bunch of crap. Hahaha... Well at least it is going to 2 amazing charities! That at least makes me feel better. Well that is my day so far. You will probably hear from Marty later!!! TTYS




 

Spirit Week Post #1

So hey this is Eddie and Marty. Eddie's skinny, Marty's fat, Eddie's white, Marty's black... and we are the best of friends. So we have very strong oppinions on alot of things. But yea today is the first day of Spirit Week. Today, we had bleacher bounce which was lame and nobody went. We also had staff American Idol which was kinda funny and made tons of money. Ms. Dillard did ok and Mr. Slusher took his role way to seriously. Hahaha he is just like Mrs. Darbus from High School Musical. So now me and Marty are off to practice for Miss. Hillcrest which Marty is participating in on Thursday. His pagent name is Martina Margarita. Hahahaha Perfect Right!!! That's what I thought too. Ok now for what Marty has to say. Oh P.S. This blog goes out to Mrs. Richey... Thanks for inspiring us to start this blog!!!!

Hey this is Marty... the other half of this duo. Apparantely i'm doing Miss Hillcrest... against my will. When people ask you to sign a contract don't. Because they will buy you a bunch of clothes, wigs and various accessories and then you'll feel really bad :/... Ah friends. Eddie said if I don't complain anymore he'll do it next year lol... I doubt he will... Wow I use alot of ellipsises... Is that the right word... I hope so... If it's not that's Mrs. Richey (My Old English Teacher)! But my character in Miss Hillcrest is sisters with Tila Tequila and I'm doing the Single Ladies dance hahaha so that should be interesting. I'm not done... Eddie's making me get off (He's controlling...) Well i'm off to pull curtains... See you next time! P.S.-The curtains i'm pulling aren't at the talent show ;)
